| In the afternoon we travel to the Schotia Game Reserve, which borders the Addo Elephant National Park, for a late afternoon and evening game drive. This is the time when the animals are at their most active, which ensures excellent viewing. This is especially true when viewing lions, which are generally nocturnal hunters and you may get the opportunity of watching them going for the kill. Schotia is also home to zebra, wildebeest, warthog, giraffe, hippopotamus, white rhino and many antelope species. |

| We travel to the Addo Elephant National Park for a game drive through the park, which has a unique place in the struggle to preserve the African elephant. From a nucleus of 11 elephants the elephant herd has increased to over 380. The park also supports a valuable herd of more than 250 Cape buffaloes. Besides numerous buck species it also houses ± 15 black rhinos. Lunch will be served in farmstyle surroundings on the crocodile ranch where all sorts of game and animals roam around you. |

| Visit the St.Croix Island Marine Reserve and see the largest breeding colony in the world of the endangered African Penguin, better known as the Jackass Penguin. Between June and October you get the chance of seeing Humpback, Southern Right or Bryde's Whales visiting the bay. The cruise enjoys regular sightings of bottle-nosed dolphins, Cape fur seals, sharks and sea birds such as gannets, cormorants and oyster catchers. |

| We travel to Graaff-Reinet and set off on a walking tour through town to see some of its many national monuments and a collection of dinosaur fossils. After lunch, which is served at the Drostdy Hotel, we take a short drive to enjoy the majestic Valley of Desolation. The piled dolerite columns viewed against the backdrop of the plains of Camdeboo, are the product of the volcanic and erosive forces of nature during the Jurassic Period and date back 190-150 million years. |

| Mountain
Zebra National Park |

| We travel near Cradock to the Mountain Zebra National Park for a game drive through the park, where you can view the Mountain Zebra and many more antelope species. From only a mere 91 Zebras, the park has grown considerably, and has made great strides in rescuing what is considered to be one of South Africa's largest mammals to have come so close to extinction - a fate which struck the Quagga. This is followed by a scenic drive through the quaint little town of Cradock. |

| We travel near Grahamstown and join a 4-hour journey that spans thousands of years in the Valley of the Ancient Voices. Rock art, relics and artefacts give clues to the myriad of animals and people that have crossed through this place - using it as a place of refuge, or a home, or of spiritual significance. Follow the same paths that they did, paths as ancient as the rocky outcrops into which they have been worn. The towering cliffs are home to innumerable types of birds, reptiles and mammals - a nature lovers paradise. |

| We travel near Kenton-On-Sea to the Kariega Game Reserve, which incorporates contrasting riverine, bushveld and grassland ecosystems and hosts more than 25 species of game including Giraffe, Zebra, Eland, Wildebeest, a wide variety of antelope, vervet monkeys and more than 200 bird species. You are escorted on a game drive in open vehicles by experienced rangers keen to share their knowledge of local flora and fauna. Afterwards you take part at a river cruise on the "Kariega Queen", which provides a perfect opportunity to listen for the cry of the Fish Eagles that nest along the river. |
