Situated in South Africa in the malaria-free Grahamstown area & the Karoo Bushveld of the Eastern Cape, Jarandi Safaris offers an abundance of game. As one of the larger Private Game Reserves in the area, the farm boast more than 20 different species of antelope, big & small game and birds on 4,000 ha (10.000 acres). Additional hunting concessions on neighbouring farms amount to more than 100,000 ha (250.000 acres). Preferred hunting is by & walk and stalk.

Fascinating pictures during the hunt on Buffalo, Warthog, Bushbuck, Bushpig, Grey Duiker, Blue Duiker, Oryx. Springbuck, Kudu, Blesbuck, Wildebeest, Lynx, Baboon, Hartebeest. ABOUT IPHA

The International Professional Hunters' Association (IPHA) is one of the oldest organizations of its kind in the world. Born out of a get-together in 1967 in France and with a follow-up meeting in Monte Carlo in 1968, it was officially formed in 1969, and patterned in many aspects after the East African Professional Hunters' Association.

Its current membership numbers over 400, members coming from some 30 countries around the world.

Mission Statement
It is the mission of the International Professional Hunters' Association and its worldwide members to advise, educate and facilitate public enjoyment of the natural world. IPHA embraces sound conservation practices, sustained utilization of renewable resources, access to public lands and ethical hunting practices. IPHA is pledged by its bylaws to insure the highest level of professionalism and integrity to the benefit of recreational sport hunters and outdoor enthusiasts around the world.

Objectives

  • To promote worldwide the good management of wildlife
  • To collaborate with governments on the conservation of flora and fauna
  • To maintain a sportsmanlike concept of hunting
  • To prevent illegal and unsportsmanlike practices
  • To safeguard worldwide the interests of clients
  • To represent worldwide the interests of professional hunters, outfitters and guides

Activities & Projects
IPHA annually promotes hunting with its members, ethical hunting practices and the wise use of renewable wildlife resources at various international hunting conventions and conferences. On an ongoing basis it coordinates with other wildlife conservation and professional hunter associations to exchange expertise, information and resources. It cooperates with like-minded organizations to help police the industry and to maintain high ethical standards. It represents the interests of its members and the hunting industry at CITES and other important wildlife meetings around the world. It provides financial support, on an annual basis to Conservation Force for many joint projects.

Membership
IPHA members are pledged to adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and have agreed to full accountability to the Association for their actions afield. IPHA offers a Full Professional Membership for active professional hunters, guides or outfitters. Applicants for Full Professional Membership must be proposed by an IPHA member in good standing, and must show proof of professionalism and experience by submitting letters of reference from at least six clients. Applicants for Full Membership are also required to provide copies of professional hunter/guide license(s) if applicable. Associate Membership is open to persons that are interested in IPHA, its aims and goals.
